Who is eligible for the service?

  • Library users aged ninth grade and up, businesses, and organizations.

Where is the service offered?

  • At any of the three Upper Darby Free Public Library branches, listed on the back of this brochure.

When may I have an appointment?

  • At the Sellers/Main Branch:
    • Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri: 10:00 AM- noon; 2:00 - 3:30 PM
    • Tues: 2:00 - 3:30 PM
  • At the Municipal Branch:
    • To be determined. Please call for availability.
  • At the Primos Branch:
    • To be determined. Please call for availability.

Please Note: Appointments can be made up to one month in advance. Maximum of two appointments per month. Appointments outside of these hours are limited and are dependent upon staff availability, especially in the case of personal technology help.

We cannot actually do your research for you, but we can advise on research strategies.

How do I make an appointment?

  • Visit an Upper Darby library branch, fill out an appointment form, and give it to a staff member
  • OR Call the branch where you want to have your appointment. Phone numbers are on the contact page of this website.

A librarian will contact you within 3-5 days to set up your appointment.

How do I cancel my appointment?

  • Call the phone number for the branch where you scheduled your appointment. All numbers are on our contact page.

What can I expect from my appointment?

  • Appointments will last up to one hour, depending on the amount of help that is needed.
  • We will help you with one assignment per appointment.
  • Please know that our staff members are librarians and not technology specialists. We will always do our best to help you, but we are not familiar with all devices and might need to refer you to services outside the library as needed.
