Youth Led Humanities is a program that has opportunities for teens to lead and experience the humanities through a variety of activities.  Through a grant from PA HUMANITIES and IMLS we are able to offer a wide range of events where teens can try out different kinds of activities that they may not have experienced before.  This semester the teens have chosen to focus on nature.  We plan to plant trees, plant a garden, go on a bird walk, make bird houses, attend the Philadelphia Flower Show, do a project to help stray animals in the community, visit a farm, discover some of the local trails, and more.  The activities we do are determined by the teens involved, so these plans may adjust as we go along.

This program is open to teens in grades 7-12.
