Your Gift Makes a Difference

Your support helps our three branches offer a wide range of programs, services and materials to our community.

  • Story times, arts & crafts and family friendly activities for children of all ages

  • Internet access for job seekers and all community members

  • Safe spaces and programming events for teens

  • Author talks and special events and classes for adults.

Our locations are more than shelves of books and exist as a space for learning, creativity, connection and so much more!

Every gift, no matter the size, helps to serve our community. A gift of $20 can help purchase a new book for our children’s library. Even a small amount, when added to the contributions of others, can help to improve facilities, update equipment, and provide event more services.

Honor and Memorial Books

You can support your local library and honor a loved one or their memory by making a donation to the library in their name. Memorial Books are a tribute to the deceased and a reminder to loved ones of the person’s life and interests. Honor Books can mark important milestones, such as anniversaries or birthdays, especially for the recipient who “has everything”.

  • For donations of $25 or more, a bookplate with the name of the honoree/deceased will be placed in the book.

  • Donors may suggest a subject area for the book that reflects the interests of the honoree or deceased. Actual titles will be chosen by library staff to suit the needs of the library.

  • Acknowledgements, including title information, will be sent to the honoree, or for a memorial book, the deceased’s family.

  • Acknowledgement will also be sent to the donor. All donations are deductible as allowed by law.

  • Checks should be made payable to the UD/Sellers Public Library.
